Question 2 Both ‘Sir Gawain and the Green Knight’ and Chaucer’s ‘Knight’s Tale’ have the similarities and differences. Both stories have the chivalric romances. And some how those two stories are related that both stories are looks the period of the King Arthur and the Round table Knights. Sir Gawain and the Green Knight’s Sir Gawain go to a trip to keep the promise with the Green Knight and keep Arthur’s nation safe. Compare to the Chaucer’s the Knight’s tale, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight still doesn’t have too much action facts. And Chaucer’s the Knight Tale has more detail describe than Sir Gawain. Both also have some kinds of love story. In Sir Gawain, the hunter’s wife seduced Sir Gawain and also sir Gawain seems that his mind was little shaken. And also Palamon has a good mood with Emily. So that he decided that she as his wife. On the other hand, for me, the Chaucer’s ‘The Knight’s Tale’ looks more complex context and complex composition than the Sir Gawain.
