Question 1 I think the first part of Malory’s Morte d’Arthur is mostly present about the story’s background and detail information about the whole story of this book and Arthur. And I think this detailed description is important part of this Morte d’Arthur. This part is helping readers’ comprehension when we read it. Also, I think Malory is good writer and he seems to know that what readers really want to know from this book. If Malory doesn’t write about this first section, this book is might be really complex and hard to read because of lack of back knowledge. Also those backgrounds make me feel confuse that this events are really exist or not. Also, the topic of this book itself is interesting. And this book is really connected to our other reading such as Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, so it isn’t that unfamiliar than The Canterbury Tales for me.
